Aftertaste

Love the new coffee machine by Kuerig. However, the Vue Pods are very expensive and not readily available. Hope that they come down in price and are available in more stores, as Wal-Mart in my area does not carry them and I am forced to get them via the internet.

This is really good if you don't try to make a cup that is bigger than intended. Don't try to make bigger than 8 oz or you will be disappointed. This should not be a surprise, it is hot cocoa mix - just add water. If you put too much water, it tastes watery. But 8 oz or 6 oz, it is great!!

Cafe Escapes hot chocolate is my favorite hot beverage. Don't know why the dark chocolate was discontinued in the Vue cup.

Good taste

I don't really understand all of the kvetching in the reviews for this product. It's a perfectly good hot chocolate mix for your keurig machine. The flavor was fine, even when brewed in the 10 oz size. It is a mix, however, so it's not going to taste like hot chocolate that you gently stirred into a pot of warm milk. For an afternoon pick-me-up, though, it's just fine.

Hot Cocoa was great! My only problem is that I love the heavy taste, so for me, it was a little watery, however, get it in a packet and use only that little bit, and it tastes the same. DON'T FORGET TO SET THE VUE FOR HOT COCOA! when brewing!

YUM!!

I got these along with my Vue machine for Christmas. They have a good flavor and are not too sweet.

VERY YUMMY

I would love to give this a better score because it has so much potential. But I think we all know that artificial sweetner is not a good thing, and I will never purchase this again as long as it includes that ingredient. The small amout of sweetner that would be replaced by real sugar is certainly not enough to cause anyone any weight issues. There is some sugar. Why not all?

The hot chocolate was ok, but didn't have the best flavor. My kids would drink it because it came from the "cool" Keurig, but prefer the Swiss Miss packets (that are much cheaper!)

Not the best flavor

I was really looking forward to brewing Hot Cocoa in the Vue V700 but This has to be the worst Hot Cocoa I've ever tasted in 60+ years of life. It was weak and watery and the flavor was disgusting. The nasty aftertaste stayed with me for HOURS. This cocoa doesn't even rate a single star.

Worst Hot Cocoa EVER

Just bought a v700 yesterday - my 9-year old was excited about the hot cocoa that came in the box of trial v-cups, so we brewed it this morning. I took a sip, and was so disappointed to taste the "fake" sugar! It's SO sweet, I'm sure the real sugar in it would be enough on its own. I typically read ingredients of foods and beverages before purchasing, but didn't check these first. In addition to the Sucralose, I was extra disappointed to see that they use hydrogenated fat in the product. So, after watering it down considerably, and adding milk, I handed the mug to my daughter and told her that - in the future - she can make hot chocolate by putting cocoa powder and sugar in a mug and using the Vue to "brew" hot water... bleh...
